Resume

I was born in Germany and raised in Mexico, and I started working with paper-mache as a child. Although I have a college degree in Industrial Engineering, I devoted myself to my hobby and developed an interest in mixed media art and paper-mache sculptures.

Inspired by the Mexican art of „alebrijes“, a bestiary of mythical, dragon-like beasts made from wire, paper, colorful paint and artistical imagination, I use this sculptural form of paper-mache to follow my own interpretation, creating imaginative and fancy art objects.

I have lived in different countries: Besides Germany and Mexico, I have gained experience and the most diverse inspiration in countries like China, Sweden, Canada and Italy.

After participating successfully with an art exhibition at the “Nuit Blanche Toronto” in cooperation with Hugo Boss Canada, I have had several exhibitions in Italy, (in cooperation with Cantine Fumanelli Winery, VinItaly, Stuart Weitzmann, Pulia and Antico Oratorio di Sant'Ambrogio). I lived in Italy from 2011 to 2015.

I recently moved to Shanghai and I look forward to find a way to exhibit my artwork in China.
